Bring Your Vision
Most venues hand you a binder and a list of "approved vendors." Palm Valley Barn is a true blank slate. You bring the idea — a Tex-Mex food truck, a mariachi band, lawn games for the cousins — and the space adapts to it. No house caterer you have to use. No vendor surcharges if you bring your own. No "that's not how we do things here."
Customize what you want, how you want it:
- Catering. Your favorite caterer, food trucks, BBQ pitmasters, family-style buffets, dessert bars. Bring whoever cooks the food your family actually wants to eat.
- Décor. String lights, lanterns, themed table settings, your florist, your rentals. The barn's character does most of the heavy lifting — you finish the look.
- Entertainment. DJ on the patio, acoustic trio under the oaks, live band in the barn, photo booth on the lawn, fire pits after sunset.
- Layout. Cocktail-style mingling, seated dinner, ceremony-to-reception flow, kids' zone outside while adults dine inside — sketch it on a napkin, we'll make it work.
- Beverages. Full bar, signature cocktails, BYOB with a licensed bartender — your call, your budget.
If you can picture it, the space can hold it.
We Handle The Details
You should be giving the toast, not chasing down linens. Deb Chapin has been running events at Palm Valley Barn since 2011, and she takes the project-management load off your plate from the day you book.
What that looks like in practice:
- Award-winning planning. Voted Best Event Planner in Ponte Vedra Beach four years running, 2022–2025. Deb personally walks every client through layout, flow, and timing.
- Vendor introductions. Fourteen years of relationships with NE Florida's best caterers, DJs, florists, photographers, and rental companies. Vetted, reliable, and already familiar with the property.
- Setup and breakdown. Tables, chairs, linens, and place settings in place before guests arrive. Everything cleared after — nobody from your family is loading a U-Haul at 11 PM.
- Day-of coordination. Deb (or her on-site lead) is there from first arrival to final goodbye, keeping the timeline on track and quietly solving whatever pops up.
- One point of contact. Same person from your first inquiry to the final thank-you. No handoffs to a "day-of coordinator" who has never seen the venue.
Your job is to show up and host. Ours is everything else.

Hosted my daughter’s Highschool graduation party here. The space was perfect! The owner was on site with supporting staff and very responsive and helpful during set up and during the party. Venue staff coordinated seamlessly with vendors. It was a memorable evening for all.
This venue is absolutely lovely, easily accommodates large groups and has so much charm and appeal with both indoor a/c space and outdoor rec space. The staff was so easy to work with for the booking and was readily available for the event making sure our guests were well taken care of. Parking is a venue dream come true. Highly recommend and will be holding future events there as well.
